The Managed Change Approach
If you have been charged with managing a change, have responsibility for driving change through your organisation, or work as a consultant looking to help clients with major change then our dynamic, hands-on 2 day Managed Change™ workshop may be for you.

Objectives & Overview of the Workshop

Our 2 day workshop will:

  • provide you with a robust framework and common language for well-managed change
  • build your knowledge of change processes, including the critical people and culture issues
  • introduce you to a range of practical and flexible tools to help decide how best to direct limited change resources
  • develop your skill at preparing workable plans to guide your organisation through the change process
  • provide you with the Managed Change™ Toolkit, including electronically reproducible templates and worksheets, to customise and apply to current and future change projects faced by your organisation
  • result in a set of strategies and tactics for immediate application on return to the workplace.

For teams working together, the workshop provides a powerful opportunity to build team coherence and a stronger collective capability in addition to a common language and shared understanding of change processes.

Workshop Dates

Our workshops are usually delivered in-house although from time to time we offer open programmes. For details of forthcoming events, please contact us: enquiries@irvingandirving.com.

How We Run the Workshop: Dynamic & Hands-On

To enable the programme to be truly hands-on, participants are encouraged to bring with them examples of current or forthcoming changes; for project implementation teams this means working on their live change. This approach enables participants to develop a set of strategies and tactics for managing their change as soon as they return to the workplace as well as build their change expertise for application more widely.

To ensure the programme is truly dynamic, we combine facilitator led input with a range of highly interactive and engaging activities. Depending on the preferences of the group and on the key issues at hand, we will use as wide a selection possible from the following formats:

  • small group work
  • storytelling
  • games
  • experiential exercises
  • role play
  • demonstration
  • group discussion

We have a successful history of supporting clients to manage change in a variety of settings and our skilled facilitators are committed to ensuring the success of organisational change.
